I’ve never been one for roughing it in any aspect of my life. Give me a warm campfire and a long read, and I’m set. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t have to go full survival mode to enjoy the elements. Glamping is that perfect in-between—a little bit of nature, a little bit of luxe, and a whole lot of cozy. Whether you’re parking your camper by the lake or just setting up camp with your besties in the backyard, a few upgraded touches is a curated kind of comfort.

I like the experience of enjoying the outdoors without giving up the little things that make a trip worth it—like having a good mug for morning coffee, or skincare that actually holds up when I’m out there. I want my time in nature to feel like a real break, not a survival test. Life is challenging enough, am I right?

Real camping enthusiasts may roll their eyes at glamping but, honestly it shares the same vibe. Think of it as the aesthetic softer version. If you enjoy watching the fireflies glow and sipping s’mores-flavored matcha out of a mason jar, fairy lights strung above your camper and also skinny dipping in the lake, then there are many memories to be made and good experiences to be had even if it’s not in the traditional sense.

Glamping is my favorite kind of escape. I get the fresh air, the quiet mornings, the starry nights—but I still get to bring my favorite blanket, my morning coffee, and a playlist that sets the vibe. It’s refreshing exploring the wilderness on my own terms.
